At Goch, in Germany, the parish priest was explaining with forcefulness and passion the symbolism of their fountain as being like ‘Christianity flowing over the whole world’. Looking at the fountain, Fr Teodor Gryzska SVD from Poland, whose mission post was Kenya, commented, ‘Eh, you are wasting water; we have no water in Kenya.’
