Anniversary of Columbans killed in Korean War

Seven Columbans gave their lives during the Korean War (1950 - 1953). Yesterday, 24 September, was observed as the 59th anniversary of the deaths of three of them, Monsignor Thomas Brennan, Father Thomas Cusack and Fr John O'Brien. They were held in Taejon Jail where there was a general massacre of prisoners on the night of 24 September and it is presumed that they died then.
