My Interest

Spain has finally won the World Football Cup as correctly predicted by Paul, the "German Oracle Octopus". This is the type of event that I missed Fr. O'Halpin, the "local sports guru" in Negros, whenever I have questions about sports, he was always there to quench my hunger for information whereever  possible. I remember when I asked him about Olympics, the Summerand Winter events and I happened to meet him, in all places in the grocery store, we ended up talking until his companions were looking for him after so much waiting outside.

Honestly, I am not a football fanatic, so my interest is with the mollusk rather than with the game. I read in the paper that Europeans are now consulting Paul about their fate, and I also find it to be absurd is that, it is now under heavy guard. What is this? Are Europians  superstitious too? I hope anybody can help me because Fr. O'halpin, may he rest in peace, is not around anymore.
