Thanks to Clerical Whispers for the photo taken at the reception given by President Mary McAleese of Ireland to Columban Father Michael Sinnott last Wednesday.

I presume that the cake was to mark Father Michael's 80th birthday the following day and the 55th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood today.

Again, we congratulate him and wish him many more years of joyful service as a Columban missionary priest.
