Response to the author of 'Letter for my brother, Kokong'
Hi friends!
We've received several responses to an article we have featured for
our November - December 2007 issue. You may read the full article at
the following links:

Here are some of the responses, reactions and thoughts that were stirred by that particular article --
Quote:
When I read the story A letter to my brother Kokong, I remembered one
of my relatives and she is like Kokong. That is also the reason why i
can relate to the girl who was writing the letter. . . . Well, the only
way for them to go back to their old self is to pray for them. You
can't force them and say,' Hey! Go back to earth! Go back to reality!'.
I only have to pray for them because prayer is very powerful. Just pray
for their souls and surely God would help. If not, they don't come
back, we only know now that their souls will be saved. Just trust in
God.

I can really relate from what you are going through because my family
and I also have problems with my brother. . . . When I read your life
story, I gain strength to talk to my brother . . . He opens up to me
and I understand him . . . I know that this is just a challenge given
by God
to test our family.
Read the story yourself and come back and share your own insights
about the article. Thank you to all those who took time to send us a
short email sharing with us their own stories. Hope to hear from the
rest of you soon! :

VCD version of Misyon
I have viewed some of the electronic version of
the Misyon Magazine. I like "Teaching Global Awareness" in VCD . It is
very interesting and quite very helpful both at homes and in schools.
On the other hand, The VCD version home edition of Misyon
November-December edition has garnered some reactions from those who
were able to view it.
In this year's first meeting of the Columban Partners in Mission at
Batang, Himamaylan, the electronic version of Misyon magazine was
discussed. Here are the following remarks which came out:
1. The fonts are so small. (Most of the subscribers who had this
remarks were the older ones). They say that they find it hard to read
the whole thing.
2. The pages are turned in a fast phase. The viewers need to read faster than usual.
These were the common remarks which were raised during the meeting.
I personally believe that they are just minor concerns. I hope that
this would be of help to those who prepare the VCDs.
How about you? Do you have any observation with regards to the VCDs? Feel free to share them. Thanks and God bless!
God bless us all!
"FoR oNe MoRe DaY"
I have just finished the book of Mitch Albom
"FoR oNe MoRe DaY" which is about spending time with the persons we
value most and letting them feel our love. In that story, Charles is
given one more day to be with his mother (who was already dead). He was
able to fixed everything. The story reminds me of my pagkukulang to my
family. Most of the time, I'm crossing the chapters with my eyes full
of tears.
But in real life, are we really given chances like this? I don't
know. All I'm certain is that we must not let the opportunity to save
someone's life pass unto us. Perhaps, we all got those chances. We just
don't dare to recognize them! So whoever the author is, I'm proud of
you and I absolutely salute you for grabbing the opportunity given to
you by God.
You're right, love endures forever...
