The Priesthood is a gift, not a partnership

Fr. Walker's sharing in this article is really encouraging. Such a great testimony!
Indeed priesthood, just like any other vocations, is a gift. We may be partners of the community or congregation we are in, thus we should try to adjust for the community life. But we should not limit ourselves to the weaknesses of others or even to our own weaknesses. If we feel we can no longer bear the difficulties and pain around us, we can always go back to Jesus and hold to His hands. After all, we are working for Christ's mission, not just to please other people.
God will always speak through the heart. So be sure to listen.
