Dolphin Killings
I just received an email with pictures on the dolphin killings at Denmark. My first reaction... Such a worst sight! I just can't imagine how people there could do a massive killing -a massacre actually. So bad... So sad...
With the question in mind on how people there could sustain watching such, I tried researching for details. (Try these links: http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/w/whale-killing-denmark.htm , http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/3104494... )
And I found out that this has been a traditional thing for them; that the dolphins they kill are not endangered and these give them valuable food stock for the winter..,etc.
This seems to be just a part of their culture. But for us who are not used to it, really find it so cruel and offensive for our mother nature. Isn't she suffering this much?
However we cannot really question the tradition that has been handed down for centuries. But I just hope that they'll be responsible enough to know the consequences of the act; that they may be aware and learn of the dangers posed by such; that we all live in just one planet and whatever they do in their place, all the rest suffer.
God bless Mother Nature!
