Losing someone is also bringing you much closer to our almighty God..
4 years ago I lose someone who really brought me closer to God. she was my friend, her name is faith. she had a brain tumor and at the time i met her she only got a month to stay here in the world that we were living. at first i really couldn't believe what she had confessed to me. why? coz she was living her life normal, ignoring all the pains that she was facing. But one thing that really made me proud of her was that, she never blamed God for what was happening to her, she accepted her fate, her situation without questioning Him. yet it was me who always begged god to give her a miracle. but there was no miracle. it really brought me tears the day she said goodbye. yet at the same time i was happy for the thought that she was no longer feel all the pains.
it's been years now yet i still can remember all the things she said about God and how strong her faith was, that even pain couldn't break. i know she is happy now with Him..

Miracles in its simplicity
As I try to think of your friend given the situation, I believe what had become of her was itself a great miracle. Maybe you were just waiting for the miracle of healing that you forgot to see what was more than it. The thought that you are happy with your friend being at peace and you had accepted the whole situation and able to let her go, that was a miracle!
If we only pay attention to the details of our day to day lives, we can see God's hand working so in touch with our hearts. Even the smallest thing that we see can be a miracle. Every day is a miracle because the life that we are living is the work of a great hand that is always beyond our imaginations, incomprehensible, unfathomable.
May God open our eyes for us to see the great miracles of life.
God bless us all!

miracle was given in me..
I'm ashamed to admit that the day I lose my friend faith I really questioned God. For once in my life, I blamed Him for not doing anything, that I thought God was so deaf to heard my prayers. yet as years passed, and as I try to recall those days she keep telling me on how much she trust God, and how she embraced her fate with a smile on her face, I just can't help but thank her. When faith came along, I've seen changes in me. Things that I never usually do before. Like, waking up early just to attend the holy mass (1st mass), praying at night begging God for another life to give for her. And even my family, my friends had noticed it. Perhaps, because of the pains I felt before, I forgot all the things what faith taught me. And I really feel sorry for forgetting it all.
I was just too blinded before to realized the things that God was giving to me. I didn't bother to take time to listen, to understand things that happen, I let my emotions overruled my sense of understanding. But now, I realized that God indeed heard my prayers. It was not faith who was given the chance to have a miracle, instead, unexpectedly, it was me who was given a miracle. A chance to live in this world with a confidence that God really exist. That God really hear our prayers even in a simplest way.
"success is not a matter on how you win, its a matter on how you refuse to fail.."

God bless us always..
take care..
Success is not always in winning
Just a reaction on the quotation, "success is not a matter on how you win, it’s a matter on how you refuse to fail.."
I believe that failure is rather a stepping stone to success. Sometimes it is necessary in the pursuit of triumph. If you are afraid of failure, you will not take risks and try. Someone has written, "Success is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall."
Many successful persons failed several times but they persevered. Take the examples of Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison and a lot more.
Here's a definition of Success (attributed by many to Ralph Waldo Emerson)
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty,
to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better,
whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
Yet, Mother Teresa would say,
"God is not calling me to be successful but to be faithful."
But I pray,
May we be faithful and successful.
That in all things, God may be glorified.
Amen.

Furthermore, success may be viewed in different perspectives.
In a game, the victor may not always be the champion but the one who played a fair play.
In school, the excellent student may not have the highest grades but learned the most from the subject and can apply it in practical ways.
In life, our ultimate success is not in this world but to be told, “Well done, good and faithful servant...Come, share your Master's joy!”
success?
"Furthermore, success may be viewed in different perspectives..." Maybe it was her perspective of success! heheheh!
One of the teams in American baseball lost 9 years consecutively, it was their success becuase they made it to the records!hehehe
I wish us all to be successful in whatsoever perspective we are viewing life!heheheh!

the positive
haha! Nice point of view ha.
Well then, success is how to stay positive and to see the bright side of things. Furthermore, it is on how we learn and how far we have gone.
God bless us all!
