my parents

I can say my parents is one of a kind. they raised us well, at the early age we learned how hard life is. what i really admired to my parents is that they never give something we want directly, instead they want us to work hard on it before we can get what we want. And i'm really thankful of what they had taught us, specially about life. now, lahat ng mga plans namin ay unti unting natutupad. I'm just so happy that they are my parents, without them i cannot be what i'am right now. thankGod i have them..

You are indeed lucky to have parents like that. And they are lucky too to have you working in their inspiration and proud of them.

I really am lucky..
at the time i began to learn and realized how hard to live life is, that was the time i said to my parents "ma,pa, how lucky we are for having both of you as our parents, though we always struggle to have a better life, we may not have things that others have, but the only important is, you shaped us and showed to us what life lies ahead at our early age just to become what we are right now.."
sometimes what the world can give is not enough to make someone happy, material things are not really important.
what really important is you've learned to the things you don't have and work hard on it.

it's been 5 years or so
it's been 5 years or so since both my parents passed on....yet day by day their legacy and the values they had raised us with stayed and remain to be the most valuable treasure i could pass on to my own children .During my younger days i thought that they were just being strict and cruel sometimes yet being a mother now to my two kids,i perfectly understand why.I'd learnt life lessons the hard way...but i now understand that its the most effective way to learn it.My parents didn't gave us everything we want but i believe that they had given us everything they could possibly give according to our needs not our whims.They had given us themselves by showing us their love for each other is the way love should be..unconditional.
i couldnt agree with you more that parents are such a gift to us.
