A Poem of Purity

Although she was only twelve when she died, Laura
Vicuña had grown to a maturity of faith well beyond
her years. Fr John Murray sees the life of this young
girl whose feast is 22 January as an inspiration...

Human as we are, we tend to hate those who hurt us. But Blessed Laura Vicuña at her young and innocent age was able to let go of hatred and even forgave and prayed for Mora. Loving as she was, she was able to maintain her purity of heart. Could we ever be like her?

She was so blessed with such God's grace through her sincere prayer. And for all our concerns, prayer is what we need. So maybe it's time to claim back the most sincere and most faithful prayer and loving relationship that God deserves from each one of us.

God bless us all!
