a mountain story
"A son and his father were walking on the mountains.
Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
Curious, he yells: "Who are you?"
He receives the answer: "Who are you?"
And then he screams to the mountain: "I admire you!"
The voice answers: "I admire you!"
Angered at the response, he screams: "Coward!"
He receives the answer: "Coward!"
He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?"
The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention."
Again the man screams: "You are a champion!"
The voice answers: "You are a champion!"
The boy is surprised, but does not understand.
Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE.
It gives you back everything you say or do.
Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.
If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart.
If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence.
This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life;
Life will give you back everything you have given to it."
YOUR LIFE IS NOT A COINCIDENCE. IT'S A REFLECTION OF YOU!"

"We cannot give what we don't have."
Upon reflecting with that mountain story, I was able to relate it on the common- yet very true saying which says "We cannot give what we don't have." How can we trust others when we even doubt ourselves...How can we love when we have not experienced being loved at all...Consequently,it is also true that if we want more love in the world,we should create more love in our own hearts too. Imagine a world filled with loving people who could share that love with others and not just keep it for themselves- the kind of love which are not just earthy but heavenly! I believe that real and everlasting love came from God.
Another insight I have is that many times, we failed to realize how our actions could affect the entire system. The truth is: our actions count. Hence, whatever we do with ourselves, with the environment, with our family and friends could lead to an outcome.Things don't just remain the same as they were before because of these life-changing actions we are making.Life has been offering a lot for us. The question now are 'what have we offer to life in return?' and 'Do they lead to something good and beneficial?'
May the Lord be glorified!
"For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and future."
