"I have a wife and a girlfriend."

Allow me to share the story of 'Mr Red Cross.'I actually met him last Feb 14 when I (with my 2 siblings) happened to ride his taxi. We started the conversation with opinion sharing of how people spent their St Valentine's Day, the choice of red in their outfit.
Then we asked him on what was his plan for his wife. He said he was going to buy 2 Cadburry chocolates -1 for his wife and 1 for his kids. In him we could see the excitement. But what was so striking was when he shared the line 'I have a wife and a girlfriend.' Guess this is what men usually miss. Mr Red Cross stressed the importance of courtship that should be continued at marriage, giving us a tip that one should rather think of his wife as a girlfriend so he will have enough motivation to please her and to make her happy.
Way back his childhood years, he saw one time the grandparents of a relative in a family reunion, a couple that looked so sweet and loving together as they ate their ice cream. From that moment, he promised to himself that he will have that kind of love, a strong love up to old age; a love that will always seek for each other and the bond that will endure any challenge. And he is keeping this promise.

We had seen in him the sincerity in what he said, the excitement in sharing a lived dream love, and the desire for such to be true as well for others. We are happy to have known him and we too are hoping for the kind of love to spread and live in every true man's heart.

May the loving God continue to amaze us with His love. And may we be able to take part and have the heart of Jesus.
