practicum in Nkawkaw. After introducing her to Sister

Hani village. I did not give them what they had requested
and because of that they were rather rude but I kept silent.
A week later, they wrote a letter of apology addressed to:

Fr Joseph Panangbang, SDV
The Perish Priest

‘It’s ok if my surname is misspelled and SVD incorrectly
written but at least Parish could have been correct,’ I
murmured.

Ahenkro station. They were telling me they had not seen

new Pope,’ said the catechist. ‘Ah, you mean Pope Benedict
XVI,’ I corrected.

Every year we Filipino missionaries in Ghana come together
for a reunion. Everybody has a task to do during the
gathering. Feeling too lazy to wash the plates, I said, ‘Excuse
me. I am going for my morning prayer first’. Fr Boy Endoma
SVD loudly responded, ‘Alleluia.’ ‘Tama Boy, kailangan natin
ang luya. Magpapaksiw tayo,’ piped in Sister Precy who
just then was coming into the kitchen.
