A Safe Haven

A SAFE HAVEN

Holy Family Home is a cross between a boarding school and a refuge. It is a safe haven of brightly colored walls, plants and peacefulness on the outskirts of Bacolod, a city on the sugar-rich island of Negros in the Philippines. The 40 or so girls who live there and the 15 or so college students who live in a house near the city center are from poor families who cannot afford to educate their daughters or from families in which the girls could be at risk if they were living at home.

Hi Father Sean

The website is looking better and better. I just needed to point out though that the first sentence describing this video has a typographical error. I think you meant to place "Holy Family Home is a cross between a boarding school and a refuge," and not across.

Old habits die hard. God bless everyone at Misyon!

CONGRATULATIONS!

"How can I repaid the Lord for His goodness to me!" How we CAPUCHIN TERTIARY SISTERS CAN SAID THANK YOU TO YOU FR. Sean and the Columban fathers for your love, your trus, your support. May the Lord reward you a hundred folds and at the end Eternal Life.

I love the video, its very beatiful and inspiring. everything FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.

A Home on Earth

Holy Family Home is a home where God's love can be felt. It is where God's children are being cared for and are given hope. We are restored and inspired, educated and nourished. We find a family and from the sisters, we learned good values and many things about life. Truly, Holy Family Home is our safe haven. It is our HOME here on Earth. God really love His children. He never leave us alone. He provides for us. He sent good people to help us...May God continue to touch many people that they will take part in saving many generations. As our motto puts it, "A Child Redeemed is a Generation Saved..."

Thank you very much Father Gary Walker for visiting us and for making us realize again how blessed we are...Thank you very much Father Sean for supporting us always and for being our Father. Thank you very much Capuchin Tertiary Sisters of the Holy Family Home for your patience, love and understanding...
